New car design by Wirth Research in the UK for Level 5 underway.
I spent the day with the Level 5 Motorsports team in Bicester as they started the build of the new HPD ARX 01G LMP2 race car. Wirth Research has designed the new car and the team flew over from Madison to get to work. I caught up with team manager David Stone and talked to the Nick Wirth about the process. All in all the guys did a great job and the car was flown out of London on Friday 9th September to the Infineon Raceway in California for a shake down test which will take place on Tuesday 13th September.
