Diana BinksLiving life in the fast lane is just what Diana Binks adores. Her varied talents of reporting, producing and presenting are what makes this energetic Scot what she is today. From pacing up and down race tracks all over the world wearing her fire-proof racing suit with her headphones on, to corporate events in a more suited attire in front of a microphone, Diana is always professional… whatever the occasion.

Being most known for being a motorsport pit lane reporter, Diana currently has her teeth firmly stuck into her most recent project ‘Inside Motorsports with Diana Binks’ which follows the Level 5 Motorsport teams in ALMS, ILMC and Le Mans, where Diana herself reports and presents on racing events with coverage on www.insidemotorsports.com

Not only is this Diana’s latest endeavour, but it’s also what she classes as her best achievement so far – presenting live from the pits at the Le Mans 24 hour race. In the space of her 22 hour stint on air in front of the camera, she managed to clock up no less than 100 interviews. This alone shows her skills and determination in the motorsport world!

But this is just a tiny drop in the ocean of the things that Diana Binks has achieved in her career so far.

Since her career break as a PA at Planet 24 LTD working on ‘Big Breakfast’, which quickly saw her fly up the ladder to Editor’s Assistant, Diana Binks has had numerous TV appearances thanks to her initiative, professionalism and knowledge. Having worked for the likes of ITV, Sky Sports, Motors TV, Channel Five and also the BBC, it’s clear to say that Diana isn’t camera shy!

With her versatile expertise there is never a job too big or too small for Diana Binks in the adrenaline-packed motorsport world. To name but a few, in the UK alone, she has been the face of Late Night Sport on Five, and on ITV, Sky Sports and Motors TV, she has covered an array or different motorsports, including the British Formula 3 and GT Championship, the British Touring Car Championship and the British Superbike Championship. She has even presented on Speed TV in the USA and Motors TV in Europe.

Not afraid to do jobs behind the scenes too, Diana also worked as a press officer for the BAR Formula One Team, which gave her experience in the world’s most glamorous fast lane. From her experience and wisdom of working in F1, she then found herself to be the host of Sky Sports ‘So you want to be an F1 Driver?’

More recently, Diana Binks covered the Red Bull Air Race in 2010, which included the action both in the air and on the ground.

But, motorsport isn’t all what Diana is capable of, her multitude of transferable skills means she can work in any sector of the media industry.  She was invited to take part in a pilot for the BBC’s Mid-week National Lottery Show and has also presented programmes on Challenge TV. To add more to the list, Diana has also been a guest presenter on Radio 5 Live’s 606 show, and to top it all off has worked with BBC Leeds and Newcastle as a reporter on their ‘Inside Out’ programme.
